“As a once nervous patient who hadn’t visited a dentist in 30 years, I am now a regular for several years at Brightside Dental, usually seeing Khetan as dentist and Mihaela for my periodical hygienist visits. Most recently after a broken tooth I had to make an appointment and was seen by Ronit. Due to my fear of the regular injection, I was introduced to ‘The Wand’. Ronit explained the whole procedure to me thoroughly and was very gentle and observant of my needs. There is a small surcharge for the Wand but as I found out, definitely worth it. The procedure takes longer than the ‘usual’ anaesthetic injection, about 2 minutes, but you can hardly feel the very fine needle, it feels as if something cold is being held against your gum and on top of that we only used about a quarter of the equivalent anaesthetic as would have been for the regular injection. The anaesthesia is very focal and the rest of my jaw wasn’t afected, only the tooth to be treated. Very happy that I found this surgery and hope to be here for many years hence, there will always be a little nervousness visiting any dentist but the whole atmosphere and the treatment given here very quickly puts you at ease. Whether a nervous patient or not I fully recommend Brightside Dental and the team there.”
