Smile of the Month – Wedding Smile Ready!
| October’s Smile of the Month brings together two of our favourite things – weddings and Invisalign! Sahil came to us with concerns about his “bite not feeling right”, and some tooth wear happening on his front teeth. |
As you can see from the photos, there was quite a lot of crowding around his lower teeth, which made it hard for him to clean them, and he wanted to improve their shade and tidy up the chipped edges, without ending up looking “too perfect”, all in time for his wedding.
We love a challenge, and so we got busy, with Dr Minal Patel conducting a careful assessment, and realising the root problem of the uncomfortable bite and chipped teeth:
Misalignment of teeth, and a deep overbite.
Having analysed the problem, we were then able to prescribe the solution:
1) Invisalign to correct the bite and crowding
2) Boutique home whitening to improve the colour of his teeth
3) The final touches with some composite edge bonding to improve chipped edges
