Back to business
However old I get, the end of August always conjures up the same emotion in me – that ‘back to school’ feeling, as the nights start to draw in, the thermostat starts to tick down (although not this week!), and we settle in for the final third of the year.
And at Brightside, we’ve got plenty to be getting on with, and lots to update you on.
First up, we were delighted to have Jiya with us for work experience recently. It was fantastic to help her in her journey, and we’re always passionate about helping young people understand whether dentistry is the right career path – thanks for the lovely card and plant, Jiya!
Celebrations have also been in order – our dentist Minal turned 30, so was treated to the Brightside birthday ritual! Minal joined us in spring last year, and has quickly become a huge part of what we do here. Happy birthday, and thank you, Minal!
Talking of celebrations, Elif clinched Team Member of the Quarter; a testament to her incredibly hard work and dedication. We’re lucky to have you, Elif.
Another milestone was reached this month in an entirely different area – we recently reached 100,000 giving impacts with B1G1 – the charity that helps businesses give back. We’ve been working with them for the last 12 years, and it’s a big part of the Brightside ethos, so it’s fantastic to clock up that many impacts. You can get more info on our B1G1 work HERE.
Finally, we’re celebrating again, thanks to our new website reaching the final for Best Website in the Dentistry Awards. The winner is due to be announced next month, so keep your fingers crossed! And if you haven’t checked out the new website yet, you can do so HERE.
